About The Position
Location: Tel Aviv (Hybrid) | Reports to: VP R&D
About the Role
At Madlan, we are redefining the real estate market through data, transparency, and technology. We are looking for a sharp, experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to play a key role in building our next-generation systems, cracking complex architectural challenges, and driving core product features end-to-end.
This is a 100% hands-on role, combining production-grade software development, active participation in architectural decisions, and fostering a modern AI-First engineering culture. Your goal isn't just shipping features—it's elevating code quality, taking deep ownership, and serving as an engineering growth engine for the team.
What You’ll Do
- Hands-on Development: Write scalable, high-performance code across the full stack (frontend and backend), maintaining end-to-end ownership over features, microservices, and databases.
- Design & Architecture: Actively participate in architectural decisions, schema design, and technical solutioning for complex product requirements.
- Engineering Excellence: Drive high code quality through rigorous code reviews, automated testing, engineering post-mortems (lessons learned), and active knowledge sharing.
- AI Integration: Leverage AI tools and agentic workflows in your daily engineering tasks to streamline development and boost productivity.
- Agile & Delivery: Perform actionable technical breakdowns and maintain a fast, predictable, and continuous delivery pace in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record as a Senior Full-Stack Developer.
- Database Expertise: Deep understanding of database design, schema optimization, and complex querying in both SQL and NoSQL environments.
- High Engineering Standards: Proven experience with clean code practices, test automation, and distributed systems / microservices architecture.
- Autonomy & Ownership: Ability to take complex product requirements, break them down technically, and drive them to production independently.
Strong Advantages
- AI Experience: Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, AI agents, or AI-assisted development tooling (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, MCP).
- DevOps & Cloud: Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, AWS/GCP infrastructure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- GIS & Spatial Data: Hands-on experience with PostGIS or spatial data processing.
How We Measure Success
Success in this role will be measured by code and architecture quality, independent end-to-end feature delivery, predictable velocity, and active adoption of AI-driven engineering workflows.
